Fill out the form to get started
There’s one thing we hear over and over again at Fit One Five:
“I wish I had started sooner.”
It’s rarely that someone wishes they had waited until life forced them to make a change. Yet that’s often what happens.
We wait for the wake-up call.
Maybe it’s a fall that suddenly makes you question your balance and strength. Maybe it’s being diagnosed with osteopenia and realizing that protecting your bones needs to become a priority. Maybe getting up from the floor isn’t as easy as it used to be. Or maybe your grandchild reaches up to be held, and for the first time, you wonder how much longer you’ll comfortably be able to pick them up.
Those moments have a way of getting our attention.
But at Fit One Five, we’d much rather help you start before you ever need that wake-up call.
What Are You Really Training For?
Fitness is often talked about in terms of weight loss, clothing sizes, or what we see in the mirror. Those things can matter, but they’re only a small part of the picture.
We want you to think about what being strong allows you to do.
It’s carrying your own suitcase through the airport and having the energy to explore when you arrive. It’s bringing the groceries into the house. It’s getting down on the floor with your grandkids and knowing you can get yourself back up. It’s gardening, golfing, climbing stairs, traveling, and continuing to say “yes” to the things you enjoy.
Ultimately, it’s about maintaining your strength, confidence, and independence for as long as possible.
That’s what we want you training for.
You don’t have to wait until everyday activities become difficult before deciding that your strength is worth investing in.
Fitness at Fit One Five Is Personal
One of the biggest barriers to starting is simply not knowing what to do.
Should you lift weights? How heavy? Which exercises are appropriate for you? What if you haven’t exercised in years? What if you have limitations? What if you walk into a gym and feel completely out of place?
That’s why our approach at Fit One Five is centered around 1-on-1 personal training.
You’re not handed a generic program and left to figure it out. Your coach gets to know you, your goals, your current abilities, your experience, and what you want to be able to continue doing in your everyday life.
For one person, success might mean feeling stronger and more confident lifting weights. For someone else, it might mean improving their ability to get up and down from the floor, carry groceries, travel comfortably, or keep up with their grandchildren.
Your starting point is your starting point. You do not need to get “in shape” before you come see us.
Our job is to meet you where you are and help you move forward from there.
We Look Beyond the Workout, Too
A couple of workouts each week are important, but your health isn’t determined by what happens in the gym alone.
Nutrition is part of the bigger picture, which is why we also offer 1-on-1 nutrition coaching at Fit One Five.
And this isn’t about handing you an extreme diet, taking away every food you enjoy, or expecting perfection.
It’s about having someone help you look at your current habits and make realistic changes that support your goals and fit your actual life.
When personalized nutrition coaching is combined with 1-on-1 personal training, we can help you work on more than just completing workouts. We can help you create a sustainable approach to becoming stronger, feeling better, and building habits you can continue for years to come.
Start While You Can Choose to Start
Maybe you haven’t fallen.
Maybe you haven’t received a diagnosis that scared you.
Maybe you can still easily get off the floor, carry the groceries, take the stairs, and pick up your grandkids.
Good. Let’s work to keep it that way.
You don’t have to wait until you lose an ability to realize how valuable it was.
And you don’t need to completely overhaul your life tomorrow.
You simply need to start.
Because every workout is an opportunity to invest in the person you want to be five, ten, or twenty years from now.
We want more people to be able to look back and say, “I’m so glad I started when I did,” instead of, “I wish I had started sooner.”
