Smoothies for the Fall Season

1. Pumpkin Pie Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon stevia (adjust to taste)

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Adjust sweetness with stevia if needed.
  4. Serve chilled and garnish with a pinch of cinnamon on top.

2. Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium apple, peeled and cored
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and the oats are fully incorporated.
  3. If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Pour into a glass and sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for garnish.

3. Cranberry Orange Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 medium orange, peeled and segmented
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened orange juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)

Directions:

  1. Place the cranberries, orange segments, Greek yogurt, and orange juice in a blender.
  2. Add honey to sweeten to your liking.
  3. Blend until the smoothie is well mixed and the cranberries are fully incorporated.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness as needed.
  5. Serve immediately.

4. Spiced Pear and Almond Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe pears, peeled and cored
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions:

  1. Combine the pears, almond milk, ginger, cardamom, and honey in a blender.
  2. Blend until the ingredients are smooth and well combined.
  3. Taste the smoothie and add stevia if you desire extra sweetness.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
